Self-Transfer Guarantee: Travel Protected

Self-transfer flights give you more flexibility and options — but they also mean you handle baggage pickup, check-ins, and connections. If a delay or cancellation disrupts your trip, our Self-Transfer Guarantee helps get you back on track.

When are you covered?

You're covered if:

A flight is delayed, canceled, or rescheduled by the airline, causing you to miss your connection.
You miss a flight due to airport issues, like slow baggage delivery or long queues at immigration or customs.

What’s not covered:

Force majeure events (weather, strikes, political unrest).
Traveler errors, like missing your flight or ignoring airport rules.
If you travel with checked baggage on a ""No Checked-Bag"" itinerary.
Booking changes made without our approval.
If you had enough connection time based on airport guidelines.

What we’ll do if you're covered:

Book a new self-transfer flight to your destination at no extra cost, or
Offer a refund for the unused part of your trip, or
Fly you back to your departure airport.

Note: Please contact us as soon as possible to stay protected.

If you’re delayed overnight:

We’ll reimburse:

Accommodation (up to 100 USD per person) if stranded between 22:00–08:00
Food and drink (up to 12 USD per person) if delayed 4+ hours

Keep your receipts and follow the reimbursement steps.

Reminder about “No Checked-Bag” trips:

If your booking shows a No Checked-Bag trip, you’ll need to travel with hand luggage only, otherwise you'll be ineligible for the Guarantee — pack light or select a longer connection.
